By downloading, installing, or using Golf Aibo, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.

This policy applies to all users of the Service, including users in the European Union, the State of California, and other jurisdictions with applicable privacy laws.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes, each based on a lawful basis under applicable law:

We do not use your data for advertising, remarketing, or sell it to third parties.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

4.1 Infrastructure & Service Providers

We engage trusted vendors to operate our infrastructure. These processors act only on our documented instructions and are contractually bound to protect your data:

In-app subscription data is handled by Apple under their own Privacy Policy. We receive only anonymised purchase receipts necessary to validate subscription status.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or when necessary to protect the safety of our users or enforce our Terms of Service.

If Golf Aibo is acquired, merged, or its assets transferred, your data may be part of that transaction. We will notify users via email or prominent in-app notice and provide choices where required by law.

5. AI & Biomechanical Analysis

Golf Aibo uses artificial intelligence, computer vision, and biomechanical analysis technologies to process golf swing videos uploaded by users.

Uploaded videos are analysed to generate golf swing insights, motion measurements, biomechanical metrics, and personalised coaching recommendations. These analyses may include detection and measurement of body movements, posture, swing mechanics, and other performance-related characteristics.

Disclaimer: Outputs generated by our AI systems are intended for training, coaching, educational, and informational purposes only. They do not constitute medical, health, physiotherapy, or professional sports advice. Always consult a qualified professional for health-related concerns.

Where AI-generated outputs are derived from your video data, this processing is carried out on the basis of contract performance and, where applicable, your explicit consent.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfil the purposes described in this policy:

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@golfaibo.com.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including:

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Subscription management, cancellation, and refund requests must be handled through your Apple ID settings or the App Store, in accordance with Apple's policies.
